Still pretty close to Algonquin road. This is just before the Willow Creek church complex.

To the right is Algonquin Road and to the left is the main road into the Willow Creek church complex.

This is the lake in from of Willow Creek church. You can take a little side trip into the church complex at this point. It's a nice side trip if there in not much going on at the church... If it's a Sunday or there is some activities going on (it's a very active church) then you'll be competing with traffic along the narrow drives and it won't be as nice...

This is the sign at the church entrance off of Algonquin Road. Although these photos were from quite a while back now, I am updating the captions on these pages to be a little more descriptive (and more up to date). I believe that this is still the same sign at the church entrance but I haven't been this way for a while so I can't say that it is still the same.

At Willow Creek Church, the path crosses over to the north side of Algonquin Road once again. It is usually pretty easy to cross the road there but if traffic is heavy there is a crossing light anyway. Although my objective for taking my camera on rides is to document the bike trails (with good photos of a variety of scenes along the trail) these photos are a little aged now and I have improved on the photography quite a bit since these pics were taken. Sorry for the quality of photos on this particular set of pages. I will try to get some updates asap but there are just so many trails... and so little time!

Here's a nice little downhill section just before Barrington Road. There is a small lake off to the right surrounded by some nice houses. It's all private (of course) but it is kind of scenic from the distance. There is a traffic light at Barrington Road and you'll probably need to stop and wait to cross (unless you get lucky with your timing).

The photo tour below is the new Paul Douglas Loop from early spring of 2009. The trail had just been completed but the grass on the shoulders of the trail had not come in yet (it looks greener and nicer now).
