Cannondale CAAD10 Review

Cannondale is known for quality bikes, winning races and cycling awards and for their innovations in bike frames. The Cannondale CAAD10 (all models) have Smartformed 6069 Alloy frames, carbon forks and feature the S.A.V.E. The CAAD10 bikes can be found in Cannondale's Elite Road category (their high-end road bike category) and are light weight, fast, stiff and responsive racing bikes.

The CAAD10 is an excellent alternative to the more expensive carbon frame bikes with a good selection of models to choose from which include different levels of Shimano and SRAM components.

Although Cannondale Road Bikes are usually very expensive, the Cannondale CAAD10 gives you a good selection of models and components so you can still have an "Elite" bike that is priced to fit your own particular budget.

Even with the lower priced models (the CAAD10 4 and 5) you will still be getting more for your money than with the much more expensive carbon frame bikes and often you can usually find great deals on Cannondale bikes online (although these bikes must be delivered to a store).

For more serious riders, this bike can handle racing, road cycling and long distance rides with the necessary stiffness and speed and, with the SAVE carbon fork, less jarring impact on rough roads.

Cannondale CAAD10 Model Comparisons:

The 2013 Cannondale CAAD10 Bikes have 5 price/component levels. The CAAD10 Black Inc. is the most elite mode. After the Black the prices go down as the level numbers goes up so the Cannondale CAAD10-2 is the high end and most expensive and the Cannondale CAAD10-5 is the least expensive.

All models have the Smartformed 6069 Alloy Frames and CAAD10, SPEED SAVE full carbon Forks. After that, you'll need to check out the specs for differences between the CAAD10 models.

Although CAAD10 Cannondale models have women specific designs the standard version claims to be gender neutral.

About-Bicycles Review:

Although you are getting into a more expensive bike category with Cannondale Road/Racing bikes, you still have some flexibility on the price ~ and with your preferred components ~ with the Cannondale CAAD10. And, of course, you'll be getting a Cannondale!

Cannondale claims that this bike (with high-end race wheels) can "deliver more performance than any $5,000.00 carbon bike". When you get up into this category of bike, I think that you will need to ride and compare yourself but it does indicate that Cannondale has a lot of confidence in this bike.

I would recommend the Cannondale CAAD10 for intermediate level to serious racing cyclists.
