Intense Color Trails and Nature Photos - 1

This photo was taken on the southern (Cook County) part of the Des Plaines River Trail and was vi sable from the trail. This was a colorful photo to begin with and the sunlight reflecting off the web also had some brought out some nice colors (although not as much as you see here in the color saturated version).

Here's a reflective ~ and colorful ~ photo taken in in Wright Woods which you can get to from a bike trail that branches off of the Des Plaines River Trail. The original photo was also very colorful since this was taken in the fall ~ just not as intensely colorful as this version.

The small wooden bridge photo was taken in the summer on the Millennium Trail.

This is a view from right on the Deer Grove trail (camera on the trail) near Dundee and Quentin Roads in the early fall.

This very green and reflective shot was taken from the Des Plains River Trail. This was from the Cook County part of the trail also.

This super color saturated photo is a duck swimming in a pond in Wright Woods (of the DPRT Lake County). This photo was also very colorful to start with.

This is one of the bike trail bridges over the Des Plains River in the winter. There is not as much color in the original photo but saturating the colors really brings out the winter colors that are there (and maybe not as noticeable in the original).

This is the river walkway part of the Des Plaines River Trail as it winds through the city of Des Plaines. The rails on the left and the shadows that they cast made for an interesting shot.

This photo is the shore of Lake Michigan as seen from Cave Point in Door County Wisconsin. There are bike routes that run along the less used roads in Door County that lead you right into Cave Point County Park and the shores of Lake Michigan.

This is looking down to the bottom of the lake, also from Cave Point in Door County.
